Chern Yii graduated with LL.B. (Hons) from the University of London in 2011 and obtained her Certificate In Legal Practice in 2012. Thereafter, she was admitted as an Advocate & Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in 2013.

Chern Yii is a Senior Associate, and focuses on civil litigation and family disputes. She is a member of the Malaysian Bar Council Family Law Committee (2022/2023) and also a Collaborative Law Practitioner (member of the International Academy of Collaborative Professionals since 2023). She works closely with the partners of the Firm and has notable involvement in landmark decisions on defamation, civil procedure and family law. Chern Yii also has experience in bankruptcy, winding up & insolvency, employment and labour law.
